The primary focus of this group is attending cultural events and going out for brunch, lunch, and dinner with other 50+ year old seniors, singles, and couples. From gourmet to pizza, some of our favorites are Italian, Mexican, Mediterranean, and steak, as well as health conscious restaurants. We also enjoy theatre, classical music concerts, museum events, and movies. Occasionally, we cook and entertain in our homes (with limited numbers). Tired of Triangle meetup groups focusing mainly on Raleigh, Cary, and other locations? This meetup will be Durham-centric. A variety of activities is envisioned, such as gathering for coffee and discussion, attending festivals and cultural events, visiting local museums, galleries and parks, going to plays and music performances, or whatever else comes to mind. Meetings should be quite casual. Members are welcome to send ideas and suggestions for activities. Most activities are FREE or cheap!
