This meetup is for people who appreciate cultural events. This includes classical music, theater, opera and ballet. We focus on group rates, finding good prices and making friendships. From symphonies to the DCPA operas and ballets, to many smaller venues in the Metro area. We will offer an optional pre-event dinner at a nearby restaurant prior to the event so that we can get to know each other. A monthly potluck, usually on a Sunday afternoon will be organized. I'm a former concert pianist who shifted to business at some point in life. To me, music is an intellectual journey that strikes emotional cords. I still play for myself but I miss sharing this experience with others. I wanted to start this group as a place of all of us to share ideas, learn from one another, disagree at times, and enjoy the riches of music.
