May 27th Concert for Israel's Environment

Hi, everyone - I'm organizing a concert on Tuesday, May 27 - a "Concert for Israel's Environment" - featuring two of Israel's best young musicians, violinist Yonah Zur and cellist Michal Korman. They'll be playing some great pieces - Bach's 4th Suite for Solo Cello, the Ravel Sonata for Violin and Cello, and two works for solo violin by Israeli composers, Paul Ben-Haim and Menachem Zur (the father of the violinist performing). The concert space is a beautiful old synagogue with very resonant acoustics - yummy for solo Bach! Tickets are $20 in advance, $25 at the door and $10 for students - and there will be a reception afterwards where MeetUp folk can meet up. Details and tix are at www.hazon.org/concert.
